Plant Engineer
Job Description

  • Ensure all mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment and building problems are seen to and repaired in a timely manner
  • To ensure all, mechanical, electrical and steam systems comply with current legislation.
  • Provide a programme of planned preventative maintenance on all equipment ensuring optimum use and minimum downtime.
  • To advise best options and organise repairs, new installations and equipment.
  • To provide ongoing training for all staff from start of service and throughout their employment and regularly review their training and development.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a plant/maintenance engineer in a production environment
  • Electro-mechanical fault finding experience
  • Engineering/maintenance qualification
