Planning Law LD/ Partner (Infrastructure) | London | 7 PQE +

This standout opportunity is with a leading Top 50 UK firm, who are seeking an experienced individual to join their competitive L500 Ranked Team.

The Firm

This is a high profile Global practice; with the environment of a leading National – offering an escape from the traditional stoic culture found elsewhere in City/ Global firms, without sacrificing quality – ultimately providing a much sought after balance.

Their leadership has stemmed from a mix of organic growth, those who have trained and remained; and lateral Partner acquisition from competitors.

The firm have strong retention rates by always looking for ways to offer more, be that autonomy, progression and overall recognition.

You will find them consistently ranked Tier 1, L500.

The Role

Through further planned growth, this leading Top 50 UK firm are seeking an experienced Legal Director or Partner to join the Planning team.

This specialist offering works in synergy with the wider Real Estate Group, providing advice to a range of established UK & Global clients across both Public & Private sectors.

The Real Estate Group is award winning, a formidable offering spearheaded by renowned Partners in London and across National offices.

The Planning team, respected in its own right as a true specialism, receiving further internal investment to keep up with increasing demand. The team has depth, providing Contentious & Non-Contentious advice across;

  • Planning
  • Environmental,
  • Local Authorities
  • Highways

They are a preferred firm for some of the largest Housebuilders, Developers and Councils across the UK, and have experienced considerable growth within this team.

However, the Planning Team are increasingly sought out for Infrastructure Projects, and a leadership hire is required to spearhead this next growth phase within the Group, to specialise and capitalise on this work.

There is existing demand from their impressive client base, an excellent platform, alongside the team being well stocked at Associate level to provide quality support; with further guarantee of autonomy & investment to ensure the success of building out their Planning Infrastructure offering.  

Whilst we have further Planning LD/ Partner positions within this practice, and others we represent, we are looking to speak with individuals keen to helm this exciting project, and take on an Infrastructure focus.

You can come from a mixed Planning background, or one that is already Infrastructure focused.

You will be:

  • An experienced Planning LD/ Partner with 7 PQE +
  • (Should you be less experience, please get in touch for SA/MA roles within this team)
  • Experience with Infrastructure Project Planning
  • Confident in a client facing role
  • Keen to assist with further development of this L500 Ranked Group
