Location: Birmingham or Bristol - Covering South West Division
The Company:
My client is a specialist land promotion business which supplies the housebuilding and logistics/manufacturing community with land that has planning permission, accelerating the delivery of their new homes and commercial developments. My client has offices in Birmingham or Bristol.
Position:
The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering the region's planning strategy and to successfully manage a team of consultants to deliver qualifying planning permissions throughout the region in the most efficient manner possible.
Role Accountabilities:
- To develop and maintain a planning strategy which will identify the region's priorities with local authorities and settlements which will become the focal points for the region's resources.
- To develop a planning strategy and identify Local Authorities within the region which will present the business with the most potential for residential planning applications.
- To implement a competitive tender process before selecting a team of consultants to provide advice, reports & surveys during each project.
- To communicate the region's planning priorities to the wider team.
- To ensure regular land studies are conducted in accordance with the planning strategy using a variety of resources available to the region
Requirements:
- Town Planning Degree or relevant Professional qualification
- RTPI Accredited
- 10+ Years Public or Private sector planning experience
