Your new firm
A well known accountancy practice who are based in the in Newton-le-Willows in Merseyside. Your new firm are a classic general practice who offer a variety of different services in including Taxation, accounts, audit, and payroll services to range of clients across the North West. Having 4 different office locations in the North West with tax being run across all their offices. Due to succession planning and an upcoming retirement in the tax team, this firm is now looking to bring in an experienced personal tax professional who will be able to manage their own client portfolio across Merseyside & Cheshire.
Your new role
In your new role you will manage the personal tax portfolio for in the Newton-le-Willows office being the go-to tax professional for that office. You will manage your own portfolio of between 150-200 personal tax clients getting involved in a range of personal tax queries. Your main responsibilities in this role will be to handle all personal tax compliance, preparing, submitting and reviewing personal tax computations. You will also be the main point of contact for the personal tax portfolio handling any personal tax queries. You will firm part of a wider tax team in the North West and support with other tax work as and when the firm needs, utilising and other tax knowledge. Your portfolio is a varied one made up of range of individuals, sole traders and HNWIs. This role would suit someone who is looking their own portfolio and deliver good quality tax work.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role I'm looking to speak either qualified or qualified by experience tax professionals who are based within a commutable distance to Newton-le-Willows. You will ideally need experience managing a personal tax portfolio and be confident with a range of personal tax compliance. Management experience is not needed, but you must be comfortable managing a range of different clients, being approachable and able to work with key stakeholders.
