Personal Assistant (Administration)

Peterborough - 3 days working on site / 2 days WFH

Initial 6 month contract - potential to extend for the right person!

37 hours a week, Office hours (usually 08.30-17.00), Monday to Friday

Up to £19.10 per hour PAYE (depending on experience) / Umbrella rates also available

Joining the Administration team of a world leading Fortune 100 manufacturer, this is an opportunity for a Personal Assistant to get stuck in to a diverse and rewarding role, with a lot of interesting aspects e.g. providing confidential, clerical, flexible assistance, and administrative support. This is a busy, fast paced, and varied role, providing clerical support for 3 - 4 directors.

As a Personal Assistant what will you take responsibility for;

  • Extensive diary management, scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
  • Coordinate communications by receiving and passing along e-mails, notices, etc.
  • Assist with organising all UK and overseas travel arrangements
  • Manage expenses and processing
  • Operate a PC and standard software programs
  • Interact with other departments as required
  • Provide other routine administrative duties as required

To be successful what are they’re looking for from you;

  • Previous experience in a similar “PA” role within a busy global company, working in a large team and working with overseas business
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and organisation skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change with the ability to self-manage conflicting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and other administrative software packages including MS Outlook, Word, OneNote, Concur TnE etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong administration skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines whilst prioritising workload
  • Able to operate with integrity, always maintaining confidentiality
