Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a Leaving Care Team based in Stockport. 

Umbrella Rate: £17 per hour

Duration: 20/03/2024 – 2 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hrs/week - Must be flexible - Hybrid

Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with young people aged 16 – 25 years who are leaving care and making the transition to adulthood to ensure they reach their potential
• Manage a caseload and keep accurate case records of work
• Complete visits and keep in constant contact with the young people
• Contribute to Pathway Plan Assessments and provide ongoing assessment with young people to inform Pathway Planning
• Identify packages of support for young people living in the community and supervise and monitor the delivery of tasks in accordance with the pathway plan to meet young person’s needs
• Provide practical advice, assistance and support to the young people
• Promote the young people’s independence
• Support with daily skills such as financial skills and budgeting
• Liaise with a range of agencies including Early Help & Prevention Service, Education and Careers Advice Service, Police, YOS, Health, Housing, Higher/Further Education providers
• Develop and maintain close relationships with the young people all partner agencies who play their part in supporting the care leavers
• Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary

Essential Requirements

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Must have experience as a Personal Advisor in a Leaving Care Team
• Experience/ knowledge of working with care leavers/ young people in care
• Highly motivated to achieve the best outcome for the young people
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Must already have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
