A Local Authority based in the Merseyside is seeking to appoint a number of Personal Advisor's to their Leaving Care service

Highlights:

• Will be working to support Social Workers with their caseloads of Young People Leaving Care and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
• This is a locum post which offers the opportunity to develop statutory experience as well as the opportunity to take on a permanent post in the future.
• The Leaving Care service work with young people from the ages of 16 to help support them transition to independent life
• The Local Authority use the Signs of Safety approach which you receive training on.
• If you are looking to take a Social Work post in the future this will provide you with an excellent platform to do so as it will give you the experience required.
• The team do direct work with children/young persons which you will be a part of.

This is an excellent opportunity for those that are looking to gain valuable statutory experience within a childrens social work team. This is especially significant for those who are aspiring to become Social Workers as the successful applicant will have the opportunity to take on a substantial position with the authority should you perform well for the duration of the assignment.

As a Personal Advisor you will be supporting a Social Worker with their caseload, which consists of Young People Leaving Care. The team work with young people as the reach he age of 16 and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to work with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking children
