A Local authority based in the West Midlands region is looking to recruit Personal Advisor's to their Children in Care and Care Leavers services providing an excellent opportunity for those candidates who are looking to gain statutory experience and develop into Qualified Social Workers.

Highlights:

  • Gain statutory experience to help support your development into a Qualified Social Worker
  • Work within an established team to support Children in Care and those service users who are leaving care
  • Will have the opportunity to work with other service areas such as Employment, Housing, Education and Health
  • If you are registered with SWE the post offers the opportunity to progress into a Social Work role.

This is an excellent opportunity for those candidates who haven't been able to secure an ASYE post and are looking to develop statutory experience within a Social Work team. Furthermore, for those candidates who are registered with SWE there is scope of the position evolving into a Social Work post.

The role focuses on working with Children in Care and Care Leavers to help support with Pathway plans as well as to help service users access services such as employment, education, housing and health. The team generally deal with service users between the age of 16-25.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working with young people.
