60-80k pa, depending on experience plus car allowence and paid mileage.

Harbour Healthcare are recruiting for a Peripatetic Manager to support our services across in Stockport, Crewe and Leek areas.  This is a newly created role where you will be required to work within services for a number of reasons e.g support performance, cover annual leave, cover absence.

Please note that this role is a 12 months FTC.

Responsibilities:

Primarily to improve the quality of services by taking overall responsibility for site leadership where service is currently without permanent management, this will be as the interim Registered Manager or the interim Responsible Individual when and where necessary. Required to manage people and resources to ensure high-quality standards of care and service are delivered to regulatory, contractual and company standards.

Additionally, to provide defined operational support and management to existing site leadership where additional support may be required to drive quality, business development and financial viability in both existing provisions and new services.

To lead and manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards.

To manage the budget of the home and ensure the business remains viable and to meet and exceed the key performance indicators for people, quality and performance.

To achieve the above you will need to embody Harbours values of Humility, Accountability, Achievement, Passion and Integrity.

Reporting to the Operations Director.

Person Specification:

In order to fulfil the role of Peripatetic Manager to the required standard, individuals will require the following skills, experience and abilities:

Previous successful Nursing home management and supervisory experience

Previous experience working within a social care environment

Experience of working and living at times “away” from home.

Understand care planning processes and have experience in writing care plans.

Good working knowledge of IT systems.

Knowledge and/or experience regulatory framework.

The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role

Preferably a registered Nurse or previously held a pin.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such.
