Wild Planet Trust was established in 2019, however, our work as a registered education, scientific and conservation charity goes back to 1957, with the formation of the Herbert Whitley Trust (later to become the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust).

We are now looking for a People Services Advisor to join us on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week over three - five days, on a two-year fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a People Services Advisor, you will provide HR support to the People Services Manager, line managers and employees.

Ensuring all People Services information is kept up to date, you will provide guidance to managers and employees regarding any People Services matters.

You will accurately input data into our systems, supporting the People Services Manager with organisational compliance with Employment Law, and analysing data and preparing reports.

Additionally, you will:

- Facilitate initiatives such as employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with Data Protection Policies
- Support the Payroll Officer
- Encourage effective internal communications

About You

To be considered as a People Services Advisor, you will need:

- Experience of dealing with a variety of employee relations situations
- Experience of managing difficult situations and devising solutions with those involved
- Experience using a HRIS
- Data analysis skills
- At a minimum, CIPD level 3
