Job Title: Pensions Technician

We are currently looking for a DC Pensions Technician to join a well-established company on a Fixed Term Contract basis. As a Pensions Technician, you will be part of a small team of specialists that administer the staff group defined contribution plan for employees and a group of deferred and in-payment annuity policies for external customers.

Your main responsibilities will include maintaining databases and systems, handling incoming communications from members and third parties, undertaking member benefit calculations, engaging with administration systems provider to ensure accuracy of calculations, checking calculations undertaken by colleagues, developing and maintaining appropriate administration procedures, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining up to date knowledge of all aspects of pensions administration and legislation.

To be considered for this role, you should have excellent knowledge of customers and processes, significant pension administration experience, good understanding of pension provision and legislation, a methodical approach to routine work with a high regard for accuracy and detail, self-drive and ability to motivate and support others, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

If you have CII FA1/FA2 (Life Office Administration) or PMI CPA/CPE (Pension Administration/Essentials) qualifications, MS Excel qualifications, or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience, it would be advantageous.
