Role Overview: As a Pensions Lawyer in the esteemed Legal Pensions Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, timely, and pragmatic pensions law advice to diverse clientele, spanning the public and private sectors. Your responsibilities will extend to contributing specific, technical analysis of pension law aspects in corporate activities and actively participating in negotiations to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities: 1 Provide Expert Pensions Law Advice: * Offer consistent, timely, and solution-focused advice to trustee and employer clients. * Navigate the complexities of pension law to provide pragmatic solutions. * Contribute to Corporate Activities: * Conduct technical analysis of pension law aspects related to corporate transactions. * Engage in negotiations to secure favorable outcomes for our clients. * Knowledge Management and Training: * Contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal legal knowledge management system. * Support the learning and development of colleagues and clients through both formal and informal training initiatives. * Representation and Support: * Act as a representative and supportive member of the firm, both internally and externally. * Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen the firm's position in the legal landscape. Qualifications and Skills: * Qualified lawyer with a strong background in pensions law. * Proven experience in providing high-quality legal advice to trustee and employer clients. * Expertise in conducting technical analysis of pension law aspects related to corporate transactions. * Strong negotiation skills and the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. * Commitment to knowledge management and continuous learning. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to represent and support the firm effectively.
