Your new role

As a Pensions Auditor, you will play a key role in our pensions audit team, responsible for conducting high-quality audit engagements for pension schemes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing audits of pension schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulations.
  • Conducting detailed risk assessments and substantive testing of pension scheme financial statements.
  • Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls within pension schemes.
  • Identifying and communicating audit findings to clients, providing practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in the area of pensions audit.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in pensions legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including tax and advisory professionals, to provide comprehensive client support.


What you\'ll need to succeed

  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in either Pensions, Insurance, Financial services, and Banking
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions legislation, accounting standards, and auditing principles.
  • Familiarity with the specific challenges and requirements of auditing pension schemes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
