Hays is currently working with an OFSTED 'good' school sandwiched between Reading and Guildford. The school are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable PE teacher to help them through the summer term until the end of the academic year.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspiring Lessons:
    Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging PE lessons that ignite students' enthusiasm for physical education. Whether it's mastering a new skill or participating in team sports, your creativity and passion will make a difference.
  2. Inclusivity:
    Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience.
  3. Assessment and Feedback:
    Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to help them grow. Celebrate their achievements and guide them toward improvement.
  4. Extracurricular Activities:
    Organise and supervise extracurricular sports and fitness activities. From inter-house competitions to school-wide events, you'll be the driving force behind our active community.
  5. Collaboration:
    Work closely with colleagues to enhance our physical education program. Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in PE.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
