PE TEACHER

Prospero Teaching are supporting a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School located adjacent to the New Forest National Park seeking a qualified PE Teacher to commence ASAP.

This role is a fixed-term contact covering maternity till December 2024.

This role will include the teaching of PE practical and theory across KS3/KS4 including GCSE.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:

  • Location: New Forest, Hampshire

  • Duration / Likely Duration: Maternity Cover
  • End date (if applicable) December 2024
  • Contract type Temporary
  • Full time/part time Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay: From £153.95 per day
  • Hours 8:15am 4:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (Prospero can provide relevant training if required)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years of employment
