Secondary School PE Teacher

  • Location: Cambridgeshire, UK
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Salary: £27,000 - £45,000

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a PE Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical education, promoting health and fitness, and fostering a love for sports among students.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive environment that motivates students to participate in physical activities.
  • Teach fundamental sports skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and organize sports events and competitions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or relevant teaching certification.
  • Previous experience teaching PE at the secondary level is advantageous.
  • Passion for promoting physical health and well-being among students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
