Duties

• In line with the school mission statement, to effectively manage and teach a group of students.
• To provide good channels of communication between the school, parents, carers, residential staff and relevant multi-agencies.
• To be responsible for planning and implementing a curriculum based on the scheme of work devised by the school.
• To deliver accredited courses.
• To plan for a wide range of ability so that all students, as far as possible, reach their potential.
• To create a well ordered, calm environment which is stimulating and purposeful for all students.

About us

The School provides specialist education to pupils with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.

We are a small school on the outskirts of Preston. Our staff are dedicated to delivering education in a therapeutic and trauma informed way.

All pay rates that are offered will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Our working opportunities include temporary positions, permanent contracts and ad-hoc supply.

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
