We are expanding our Engineering Team.

An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for a qualified Fitter with at least 2 years’ experience in PCV maintenance to join our Lewes Depot’s newly purpose fitted workshop.

Working requirements: Early shift working pattern 0600-1500 Monday to Friday + weekend on-call (average 1 in 4) or mid shift working pattern 1400-2300 Monday to Friday + weekend on-call (average 1 in 4)

The role and expectations for PCV Fitters:

  • Being responsible for undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing and ongoing repair of a varied fleet of buses and coaches.
  • Prompt and thorough repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with DVSA best practice and to company standards.
  • Work to the highest health and safety standards.
  • Work on either an early shift working pattern (0600-1500) Monday to Friday or a late shift working pattern (1400-2300) plus weekend on-call (average 1 in 4).


Person Specification:

  • You can work safely to pre-set standards and guidelines.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in PCV maintenance with recognised qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 3 / IRTEC etc.
  • You hold a current and valid car/van licence (category B).
  • PCV licence (category D) preferable but not essential.
