Remit
Compass Associates is exclusively working with a leading provider of adult supported living and residential services, to recruit an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, to join them as their new PBS Lead for Yorkshire.

You'd be part of a growing organisation which provides specialist residential, supported living, home care and day services, for adults who have complex needs and require additional support due to backgrounds of learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and sensory impairments. As my client is well-established across the UK, they are now expanding into Yorkshire with plans to open supported living and residential homes over the next couple of years. Positive Behaviour Support and DBT is utilised across the organisation so this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is both DBT and PBS trained, to work alongside the Head of Operations to create, establish and develop the psychological therapies provision and team across the region.

The Candidate
Essential criteria:
Recognised degree in Positive Behaviour Support and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Significant experience working as a PBS Practitioner with adults who have autism spectrum conditions and/or learning disabilities
Experience supervising junior PBS Practitioners and/or Therapists
Service development experience is highly desirable

Interview Process
Informal discussion with the Head of Operations, followed by a formal interview.
