This position calls for a meticulous Payroll Technician who can efficiently manage payroll duties in the industrial/manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be part of our Accounting & Finance team based in Kent

Description

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll for the company.
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Staying informed about current legislation relating to payroll and employee benefits.

Profile

A successful Payroll Technician should have:

  • A strong understanding of payroll systems including Excel (pivot tables & look-ups)
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
