Are you a Payroll specialist with 5 + years experience? My client is currently seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant to join their Finance Department in London. As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for the global group of 200+ employees. Your attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for our global group, collaborating with outsourced payroll providers in different jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Liaise with pension providers to resolve queries and ensure accurate pension processing.
  • Prepare post monthly payroll reporting and payroll journals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Handle ad hoc employee payroll queries and complete relevant forms from external bodies.
  • Perform reconciliations of payroll accounts and assist with other areas such as VAT, reconciliations, and management accounting.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years at a management level.
  • Experience with US and French payroll is desirable.
  • Proficiency in ADP iHCM or equivalent payroll system.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (P&L, balance sheet, debits, and credits).
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and SAP experience is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and respect for confidentiality.
  • Ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • CIPP qualified or equivalent certification is preferred.
