Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in the south side of Glasgow to recruit a Payroll Specilialist on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be in a stand alone payroll role responsible for processing a weekly payroll end to end. My client offers hybrid working - days work from home and 3 days based in the office.

The main duties:
  • End to end processing a weekly payroll of circa 200 employees
  • Collate information from weekly timesheets, prepared on Excel
  • Uploading and processing on Payroll System
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Administration of SSP, SSP SMP
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records
  • Processing Tax Code changes
  • Processing and uploading Pension Reports
  • Responding to and managing all Payroll queries from employees
  • Ensuring adherence with internal and external regulations including tax returns
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Processing/allocating expenses
The main requirements:
  • End to end payroll experience is essential
  • High levels of attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and motivated
  • Team player
