Payroll & Pensions Manager

An exciting position has arisen for a Payroll and Pensions Manager to join a sector leading Regulatory Body at the forefront of Healthcare research.

The postholder will be responsible for accurately processing Payroll on a monthly basis along with employee benefits as well as having a close relationship with the Payroll third party provider.  

Key responsibilities of the role: 

• Processing the monthly in-house Payroll of over 300 staff
• Managing the payroll and pensions operations whilst continually reviewing processes and working practices
• Checking midlands HR reconciliations
• Managing internal Payroll issues for employees
• Carrying out various Payroll related projects
• Processing Company pensions and advising staff on benefits
• Providing an excellent customer service
• Meeting HMRC arrangements

Ideal candidate profile: 

• At least 5 years experience in Payroll
• Extensive experience managing monthly payroll in a stand alone environment
• Excellent customer service experience

Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 per annum + excellent benefits
