Responsibilities of Payroll Officer

  • Day to day administration of the Payroll software.
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions via all communication methods.
  • Support the efficient use of the SAP system hierarchy, position, wage types and pay scales.
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of legislation relating to employee pay.
  • Work in collaboration with the Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure queries are dealt with appropriately.

Requirements of Payroll Officer

  • Excellent knowledge of payroll, payroll systems with specific knowledge and experience of using SAP.
  • All administration processes that are associated with payroll.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence and experience in dealing with people and explaining complex issues in a compassionate, logical and simple manner.
  • Strong organisational skills whilst being able to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
