Experienced Payroll Officer or Payroll Manager: Our client is an international Real Estate company who are looking for an experienced payroll officer to run one of their busy monthly payrolls on a temporary basis. Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, you’ll be responsible for managing and processing the payroll from "end-to-end" for a specific group of employees. This is a temporary position for 6 months paying the equivalent of £45,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with full time, part time and zero hours workers
  • Pay, commissions, disbursements, NI, pensions, auto-enrolment, attachment of earnings, starters, leavers and more
  • Involved with end of year reporting to HMRC e.g. P60, P11D’s etc
  • Liaising with HR business partners and internal auditors
  • Dealing with queries from employees, HMRC etc.
  • Liaising with 3rd party providers e.g. re employee benefits and carrying out some reconciliations of these.

Skills Required:

  • An experienced payroll officer or payroll manager with in-depth experience of end-to-end payroll
  • Year-end processing and statutory payments and deductions
  • Good understanding of auto-enrolment
  • Ideally some experience of flexible benefits and their impact on payroll
  • Good IT skills including solid experience of ADF Freedom and ideally iHCM.
  • Good organisational, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • The position is available for at least 6 months and is located in the West End.
  • There is an ability to work hybrid following a period of settling in and you are up to speed
