Role: Payroll Officer / Administrator

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon - Fri

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

We are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer / Administrator on a Permanent basis.

This Payroll Officer / Administrator role is integral to the business so important we find an experienced Payroll professional.

As a Payroll Officer / Administrator you will offer high levels of Payroll experience and ability to carry out the following day to day expectations of the role:

  • Processing the monthly payroll for circa 1800 colleagues
  • Processing the monthly payroll for circa 350 pensioners
  • Processing of DEO/ AEO/ CMS deductions
  • Administration of Cycle to Work scheme
  • Administration of company car data to P11D production
  • Administration of car schemes
  • Administration of Private Health Scheme to P11D production
  • Updating of pension scheme data including salary sacrifice
  • Administration of Save As You Earn schemes
  • Reconciliation of month end deductions/ earnings and inter-company transfers
  • Processing external payments to Stakeholders
  • Administration of Long Service Shares and Awards
  • Administration of SMP/ SPP payments
  • Production of monthly reports as required
  • Adhere to compliance and control standards in place

This position will require the following:

  • CIPP Level 3 or above
  • Experience in Payroll processing from start to finish
  • Understanding of NMW/ statutory legislation/ tax and NI thresholds
  • Processing of CMS/ DEA/ AEO deductions
  • Administration of Salary Sacrifice schemes
  • Dealing with Stakeholders direct
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised
  • Approachable
