Payroll Manager - Nr Wolverhampton

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager for a firm of accountants based nr Wolverhampton. Ideally this role is suited towards an experienced and technically competent Payroll Manager who is a confident communicator or perhaps a Payroll Senior with supervisory experience ready to step up to the next level in their career in payroll. The successful candidate will oversee the payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients and be a great support to the wider team and Partners.

As such you’ll have an entrepreneurial outlook, considerable experience using accountancy software and of overseeing a high number of payrolls for a range of different organisations and sectors and will be first-class communicator with an excellent record of accomplishment.

Job Purpose

· Manage multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.- Using Sage Payroll

· Support the team in respect of processes relevant to payroll and benefits.

· Managing queries related to tax, benefits, salary, allowances.

· Managing P11D’s and Annual Returns.

· CIS Returns.

· Processing P60s, P45s, start letters and induction documentation.

· Auto enrolment processes.

· Act as a mentor and leader to junior members of the team.

· Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.

· The ability to grow and develop the firm’s payroll offering.

· Support the Partners with networking and business development opportunities
