We are currently looking for a Payroll Senior for a leading independent accountancy practice based in South Manchester. This practice was established nearly 100 years ago and has been supporting their clients with the highest level of service ever since.

They have a thriving office environment and everyone has a voice to speak their mind and put forward new ideas.

Duties:

  • End to end payroll processing
  • Pension contribution submissions to various pension portals
  • Auto-enrolment - Assessing and enrolling employees
  • Preparing bank files and net pay schedules
  • Posting payroll journals into accounting software
  • Manage clients payroll queries
  • Using HMRC PAYE portal to reconcile payroll liabilities
  • PAYE disputes with HMRC

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll bureau - essential
  • Experience with Sage Payroll software - essential
  • Work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
