Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a number of clients in the local Crawley area who are seeking experienced Payroller Assistants to join their team.  As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of payroll processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, benefits, and taxes.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing. 
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
