Payroll Assistant

Robert Half are currently supporting a busy business located in Edinburgh with the recruitment of an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their finance team. This role would be perfect for someone with experience of working in a busy and varied payroll role within a small to medium sized business.

Immediate Start - £14 per hour - part time 3-4 days

The role:

• Dealing with email queries
• Manual preparation of payroll records for various changes to employee working hours, job titles, location
• Maintaining and updating employee payroll records
• Liaising with HR to ensure correct employee data
• Dealing with aspects of manual adhoc monthly sheet
• Preparation of new starter forms
• Inputting completion dates to HR Portal for various reports
• Provide administrative payroll support to the Payroll Team
• Perform ad hoc payroll duties as and when required

Profile:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have good attention to detail, with experience within busy payroll roles
• Sage payroll
• Have worked in a similar environment
• Be a self-starter and proactive individual
• Have strong IT skills and good knowledge of payroll systems

Salary:

Immediate Start - £14 per hour - part time 3-4 days
