Advance Your Career: Payroll Administrator Role in Leicestershire

Annual Salary: £23,000, progressing to £25,000 after six months
Location: Leicestershire
Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid working available

About the Role: We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator who thrives in a high-volume environment and is well-versed in payroll procedures and software. In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of our payroll operations, ensuring everything from wages to tax forms is processed accurately and punctually.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Hours Verification: Ensure all employee hours are accounted for with precision.
  • Compensation Calculations: Accurately compute wages, raises, shift differentials, and overtime.
  • Payment Distribution: Facilitate wage issuance via cash, cheque, or electronic transfer.
  • Data Collaboration: Partner with HR to maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records.
  • Tax Form Management: Aid employees with tax documentation, ensuring compliance and clarity.
  • Deductions & Discrepancies: Handle deductions for tax and insurance, and iron out any payroll wrinkles.
  • Bank Record Updates: Keep employee bank details current for seamless payment processing.
  • Query Resolution: Address and resolve payroll inquiries from our valued employees.

We Need Someone With:

  • A background in handling high-volume payroll administration.
  • Experience as a Payroll Administrator or in an HR Shared Service role.
  • Mastery of payroll software.
  • An eye for detail and a knack for solving problems.
  • Stellar communication skills and the ability to connect with colleagues.
  • The initiative to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • A tech-savvy approach, especially with payroll systems and Microsoft Office.
