Payroll Administrator

£29,000 FTE

25 hours per week over 5 days

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing? We're seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our clients' team and play a pivotal role in managing payroll and time and attendance data. Your efforts will support the smooth operation of their business, ensuring payroll runs seamlessly and data is up to date for accurate reporting.

Description of the role:

  • Provide accurate data to the payroll bureau for monthly payroll processing, including statutory payments, overtime, deductions, and new starter/leaver details.
  • Conduct thorough checks on monthly data amendments and payslips to ensure accuracy.
  • Administer pension schemes and liaise with external parties for accurate data processing.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee payroll and time and attendance queries.
  • Maintain and monitor the time and attendance system daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure year-end processes are completed accurately within the time and attendance system.
  • Maintain up-to-date data in both the time and attendance system and payroll bureau records.

About you:

  • Proven experience in payroll administration or related fields.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
