We are looking for an experienced Payroll / Accounts Administrator to join our client's team. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking for extra hours during their full-time or part-time employment. You would be supporting our client with their end of financial year administration.

Job title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £14-16 an hour
Contract duration: 6-8 weeks
Hours: 10 hours a week
Start date: ASAP

Duties

  • Administer the monthly payroll process, alongside the vendors, using ADP. This includes:
  • Responsible for processing any pay related transactions.
  • Prepares and reconciles all payroll related data, wires, checks, and transmittals, including taxes, garnishments, pensions and regional benefits- bonuses.
  • Audit payroll records and ensures procedures are up-to date and comply with regional federal, state, and local tax regulations. Makes any necessary changes for compliance.
  • Generates operational reports & provides funding summaries to Finance in advance of pay date.
  • Complete all YE payroll filings: P60, P45, P11D.
  • Researches and resolves complex payroll questions.

What we're looking for

  • Previous working experience within a payroll team with strong knowledge on the processes
  • Must be self-motivated and confident working individually
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, especially Excel - V-Look ups and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organised with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise.
