Position: Pastoral Care Assistant

Salary: £27,000-£30,000

Location: Windsor, Berkshire

Are you a dynamic and passionate individual wanting to make a difference to those that are disadvantaged? Then look no further as Randstad are hiring candidates for a role as Pastoral Care Assistant in the town of Windsor. The ideal candidate should have innate desire to help children with special needs and make their school experience the best it can be.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To have a basic understanding of safeguarding and the procedures that follow.
  • Understand and uphold the expectations of the school
  • Tend to the developmental and emotional needs of children with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Experience, or interest, in working as a Pastoral Support Assistant
  • Consistently and effectively implement agreed behaviour management strategies

Requirements

  • Have good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Have the ability to demonstrate active listening skills
  • Must have a basic understanding of safeguarding children and the procedures that follow.
  • Must have good organisational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different situations.
