Are you an all-rounder accountant with significant leadership experience and knowledge and technical acumen in all areas of audit, accounting and tax? If you’re ambitious, confident, a great networker and communicator then this Partner job in Matlock could be your next professional step.

This small Partnership is seeking a new addition to help drive the firm’s growth and continued provision of outstanding accounting services to a loyal client portfolio in the UK.

You’ll be qualified, have plentiful UK practice experience and be excited to develop your own fee income, coach and mentor a committed junior team and help this firm to develop and deliver their strategic plan.

Job Purpose

• Provide a range of business advisory and full-service accountancy services to a client portfolio.
• Oversight of tax and audit provision.
• Assist in the strategic planning and delivery of business services.
• Ensure the high-quality provision of accounting services.
• Development and growth of new clients and opportunities.
• Oversee and support projects and initiatives, as necessary.
• Department management and staff development ensuring employee performance and delivery.

What’s on offer?

• £110,000 - £150,000 per annum
• Full time, permanent role

• ACCA/ACA qualified.
• Demonstrable history of career progression in accountancy practice
• A proven record of accomplishment of developing new and profitable revenue streams.
• Technically proficient in all areas of accountancy.
• An entrepreneurial, can-do attitude to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• An experienced leader who leads by example and inspires others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
