Part-Time Year 4 Teacher - Hillingdon - 3 Days a Week - ASAP start

Job Opportunity: Part-time Year 4 Teacher

Location:  Ruislip, Hillingdon

School:  Spacious two form entry primary

About Us:  Join our vibrant and successful Hillingdon primary school! We are looking for a jobshare Year 4 teacher for 3 days a week for an ASAP start up until (at least) the end of the summer term. Beyond that, the role could become permanent, full-time or stay part-time (all discussions that can be had in the future). There is flexibility on the days of the but ideally they will be 3 consecutive days. We are looking for a strong and confident Year 4 teacher who can also work well as a team due to the jobshare nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 4 students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being and academic growth of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of an engaging and creative curriculum.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and actively participate in parent-teacher conferences.
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos, promoting a culture of respect and kindness.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 2.
  • Ability to create a calm and supportive learning environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to kindness, empathy, and nurturing the well-being of students.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
