Part Time Veterinary Customer Care Advisor: Veterinary Practices in London - Wandsworth, Battersea, Balham and covering Surbiton

We are looking for a positive and approachable individual who has genuine passion in providing outstanding client care and client experience.

Voo Vets is a family business that believes truly best pet healthcare is achieved by combining general, specialist and emergency care. There are 6 branch sites across London and Surrey and a central 24-hour veterinary hospital located in Surbiton, Surrey. We have excellent facilities and provide the very best in pet healthcare.

A positive client experience is key to our success and you will be responsible for ensuring this whilst also establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships to enhance the client bond.

The right candidate can establish themselves in a growing group of practices.

We provide excellent training, so you do not need previous experience in the veterinary sector.

We believe in career progression for all and our training system allows you to develop areas of special interest within the role, as-well as seek managerial roles within our group.

Salary will depend on previous experience and would range between £19,000-£23,000 pro rata.

This is a part-time role (20 hours a week which could include 1 in 3 saturday from 9am - 5pm) mainly based in London branches but with annual leave and sickness covers for both Surbiton and Worcester Park. Being able to cover for Surrey branches is also plus (Cobham, Ripley, Pyrford). We want the right person so we can be flexible.

As a customer Care Assistant you would be responsible for:

  • Making sure our practices are inviting to our clients and their pets.
  • Answering the phone and be the initial friendly voice and point of contact. Liaising with veterinary surgeons to ensure client needs are met.
  • Being ready, visible and available to look after our clients, increasing the client bond to safe-guard and ensure a consistent customer experience and they are 100% satisfied.
  • Client facing for payments, bookings, queries and admissions for procedures.

Does this sound like you?

  • 1+ years of experience in a general customer facing role with proven success at client relationship building or sales.
  • Excellent communication with particular reference to negotiation, persuasion/sales and written skills.
  • Positive attitude with a confident and empathetic approach.
  • Confident IT skills
  • Ability to flourish in a busy environment, multi-tasking and maintaining organisation.
  • Enjoys working with and helping people with a pro-active, can-do attitude.
