Part time Learning Support Assistant -

- Kingsbury area, Brent

- Mainstream primary school

- 9.00am-1.30pm (Mion to Friday)

- ASAP start

A friendly school in the Kingsbury area are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children along side othr support staff. This is a Part-time position working Monday to Friday during school term time.

The role will be supporting ASD and ADHD needs. You will provide a nurturing, kind, and safe environment to the them.

You will receive plenty of support from the SENCO and other support staff This role is perfect for someone who is keen to enhance children's education and is looking for a rewarding and fulfilling position in the education sector.

  • You will be working 1:1, supporting their learning which will often be outside of the main classroom.
  • Experience of working with children with Autism and ADHD would be an advantage
  • A calm, kind and nurturing approach is required.
  • You will need to be able to use your own initiative and be able to work independently.
  • Good communication is essential
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn and any experience in a similar role would be a huge advantage.
