Part-time School Librarian

CloudStone Education are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join a school based in Wandsworth as a part-time School Librarian. As the School Librarian, you will play a crucial role in promoting literacy and a love for reading among students. You will manage the school library, curate diverse collections, and facilitate access to resources that support the curriculum and students' interests.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and organising materials
• Assist students and staff in locating resources and conducting research
• Develop and implement engaging library programs and events to promote literacy
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages reading and lifelong learning

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a library or educational setting preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Passion for promoting literacy and supporting student learning
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with library management systems and digital resources is advantageous
