Job Title: Sales / Marketing Administrator

Salary: £25-27k + bens pro rata

My Client and I are thinking 9.30-2pm or 10-2.30 five days a week but my Client can be very flexible. Also, school summer holiday periods is their quiet time so whilst they couldn't give the whole 6weeks off, they can be much more flexible around time off in July & August. Role Overview:

To support the sales team in administering all my Client’s sales through the internal systems to delivery. Understanding the customers’ needs and systems and adhering to their requirements. Communicating with the warehouse team to ensure smooth delivery and protecting revenue and profitably across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of orders and the order process
  • Management of stock requirements
  • Adhere to all company systems and suggest improvement where necessary
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a busy sales environment
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of all orders according to the customer needs and objectives
  • Consistently develop a strong understanding of markets, customer needs and competition
  • Understand and be aware of the entire product range and rankings by customer
  • Carry out all administration necessary in setting up new customers including but not exclusive to new line forms, marketing calendars, promotional activity
  • Manage system entries processing orders accurately to allow all stakeholders to perform effectively through the order process
  • Support the sales team with travel arrangements and diary management
  • Monitor sales / key lines producing reports and management information as requested

Ideal Required competencies/ experience:

  • Demonstrable administrative skills
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels with the internal team and external client teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while paying strict attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to and become fluent in new booking and IT systems
  • Confidence to thrive in a busy, team-orientated environment
  • A graduate (marketing/business or similar discipline) or relevant experience - not essential
