We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Part-Time Purchasing Administrator. This role offers the perfect opportunity for those looking to balance their career with other commitments, as you'll be working three full days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Support the purchasing team in sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and negotiate favourable terms.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts.
- Assist in analysing purchasing trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
- Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or related administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
