Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Grade C NJC scale
Hours: 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only
Start Date: September

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Plymouth. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SEN students, providing 1-2-1 assistance.
  • Aid in behavior management and offer support in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans.
  • Ensure students have full access to the curriculum and their examinations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development.
  • Ability to adapt to individual student needs.
