I went out to see this new client this morning and WOW! is all I can say. They are situated in Newmarket in a gorgeous old house. I was welcomed at the door by a member of staff and two beautiful dogs. Their business revolves around horses and I met the boss and also a member of the finance staff, both of whom were lovely people, who made me feel very welcome. 

They need a part time payroller, with strong payroll knowledge to work 22 to 25 hours a week. They can be flexible on days and times you work but this is an office based job. If this sounds like you, read on! Duties will include:
  • All aspects of payroll for c. 12 employees weekly and 60 employees monthly
  • Use of Sage Payroll and Sage 50
  • Verifying, processing and paying expenses for 20 -25 people. This will involve chasing them to get their receipts.
  • Verifying, processing and paying mileage claims
  • Processing company credit cards 
  • Year end payroll reports
  • Providing finance cover for others as and when needed
