Part Time Loans Finance Underwriter

Part Time / Hybrid / WFH - excellent flexible role for this Property Finance company in North London, where you will learn how to underwrite and evaluate new loans.

You should have a Finance or Legal background eg Accountant/Lawyer/Solicitor/Paralegal.

• Support the Head of Operations in the management of loan book and pipeline.
• Assess and underwrite loan applications in line with company policy.
• Liaise with brokers, applicants, surveyors, solicitors and clients.
• Inform and instruct solicitors and surveyors on new loans.
• Ensure clients have complied with KYC and AML requirements.
• Advising clients and brokers through the legal process.
• Analysis of surveyor valuations providing reports for Board approval.
• Assessing surveyor reports to enable release of development payments.

A previous professional training in Finance / Accountancy / Law / Legal is essential, together with excellent written and communication skills. Experience and / or interest in the Property sector would be useful. Ideal candidates will be available 3 days a week or equivalent across 4 - 5 days. Flexible start / end times with regular travel to the office in North London.
