Advancing People are assisting their Bedford based Insurance client with the appointment of a compliance professional.

The right candidate will have knowledge and experience of FCA rules and regulations and potentially a CII qualification, although that is not essential.

This role will be working within a small and friendly team and has the flexibility to be hybrid!

Open to candidates working 2 or 3 full days or even part days!

Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the necessary regulatory and governance requirements for the firm.
* Provide advice and guidance to all staff
* Set and monitor polices against regulatory requirements
* Maintain a good knowledge of FCA and other regulatory requirements and interpret various rules to formulate and propose solutions appropriate to business requirements.
* Provide compliance advice, guidance, quality assurance and training to staff to ensure that effective policies and procedures are developed and maintained in order to promote compliance with all appropriate regulations.
* Develop and review compliance manuals, policies and procedures, and associated documentation.
* Manage the product governance process.

Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years Compliance experience working within an FCA regulated Insurance business.

This is a full time permanent role, based in the centre of Bedford. The salary offered is £30,000 depending on experience.
