Adele Carr is partnering with a thriving and leader in their field FMCG business with reference to a part time Financial Controller opening.

Working closely with the board of Directors the role will encompass the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage all finance operations including, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional controller duties as necessary.
  • Develop financial strategies.
  • Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the design of an organizational structure and recruiting roles as required to prepare the business for future success.
  • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
  • Implement operational best practices.
  • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced.
  • Oversee the company's issuance of financial information.
  • Report financial results to the board of directors.
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
