JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a very successful business in Brighouse that has grown to a turnover of £15million. They are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a permanent basis in a role they envisage being 3 days per week. The company have exciting plans and this is a fantastic time to join the leadership team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a key role within the organisation and they are looking for someone capable of joining the Senior Leadership Team who can influence commercial decision making. With one direct report who is responsible for all ledger and transactional finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance including the production of monthly management accounts. Key duties will include:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Develop reporting pack, create budgets and forecasts for presentation at board meetings
  • Lead all financial planning and analysis within the business
  • Provide financial, commercial and strategic analysis to support the MD with key business decision making
  • Support finance assistant with day to day bookkeeping and oversee/approve payment schedules
  • Other ad hoc duties as required of a number one in finance
