Part Time Finance Manager (3/4 days)

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Part Time Finance Manager (3/4 days) based in East Lothian paying up to £50,000 FTE with benefits.

The Opportunity

This scaling and vibrant business is on a fantastic growth journey hence the creation of a new Finance Manager post. The role will take ownership of all aspects of finance whilst also supporting with commercial & operational activities.

The key components of the role will include:

• Ownership of financial control, governance & reporting
• Involvement in the creation and enhancement of processes, procedures, controls & systems
• Supporting the leadership team with commercial and operational activities to achieve strategic objectives
• Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
• Assisting with statutory accounts, returns and annual audit
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis
• Financial analysis - costs, stock, sales, revenue etc.
• Ensuring a robust month-end close
• Overseeing purchase ledgers, sales ledger, credit control

The position of Part Time Finance Manager is based in East Lothian with the employer considering application of candidates seeking part-time of either 3 or 4 days per week. The role will also offer:

• A strong blend of management & financial accounting
• Stock experience advantageous but not essential
