Blue Arrow Derby is currently recruiting exam invigilators for the leading education provider in Derby, ready to support the busy exam season in May 2024. This is a great opportunity to help support Derby's largest education provider and its students.

This is a temporary position taking place for 2 weeks between 21st May - 31st May, we do have other opportunities throughout the year to invigilate.

You also must be available for the training date on-site at the University of Derby, which will take place on Monday 20th May 2024.

About the Role:
You would be working as a key member of the team alongside experienced invigilators, working within a busy environment.
Duties will include:
* Setting out examination materials
* Monitoring students
* Reporting any disruptions
* Collecting and sorting exam papers
* Liaising and working with the Exams Team
* Assisting with general admin tasks when necessary

About You:
Excellent communication skills
* Good use of initiative
* Work well as part of a team
* Work well individually
* Previous admin or customer service experience is desirable
* Ability to be flexible and multi-task where required
* Well organized

Training:
Full training is provided so no previous invigilating experience is required. You must attend one training session only, and all invigilators (returning and new) must attend this training to be able to carry out the invigilating.
Exact time/dates for training sessions are to be confirmed.
Training will consist of a PowerPoint presentation, interactive activities, and a guided tour around site.

The commute:
Located just outside of Derby City Centre, this location would suit anyone with their own transport in Derby or the surrounding areas. The site is also easily commutable to via bus services, as there are bus stops just outside the site.

Free on-site parking is available (for training and these 2 weeks only). There are also canteens and other on-site facilities available.
