Part time Content Creator

My client is seeking a part time Content Creator to join their rapidly growing business, based in their Southampton office. Although they offer flexible hybrid working conditions, the successful candidate must live within commutable distance of Southampton.

The primary role of the Content Creator is for planning, organising, creating, and publishing content, including website content, blogs, emails and social media posts to best accomplish our targets. You will be working closely with the wider sales and account management team in our Southampton office to optimise content in relation to specific goals and marketing campaigns as well as the overall content strategy.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist in the development of content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with management team to plan and develop website content, style and layout.
• Create and publish engaging content.
• Edit, proofread, and improve creative content and posts.
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
• Raise brand awareness and ensure conformity of message with our 'brand wheel’.
• Ensure content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
• Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics.
• Interview clients to obtain testimonials as well as better understanding the values that the business delivers.
• Keep up to date with industry developments and new ideas to capture audience attention.
• Monitor and report on competitor communications activity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Automotive/Lead Management/CRM Experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
• Good understanding of Social Media, MS Office and WordPress.
• Strong team player.
• Proven experience as a Content Writer, ideally in the automotive business sector
